S/Sgt Archie "Tater" Snow | ||
This is the helmet of Staff Sergeant Archie Snow, who was killed in action by a sniper near Mortain, France on August 7, 1944. You can see the hole from the bullet in the front of the helmet. | ![]() |
The helmet is on the left in the photo and the fiber liner is on the right. The helmet is currently on its way from a collector in France back to Archie's family. |
