T/5 HUGH C. DYER
provided by his son
We don't know where they were taken, although we can make conjectures based on what's in the photos

An M1934 tent modified with lumber to make it more comfortable

Company street in camp. Possibly Camp Blanding in Starke Florida, judging from the semipermanent nature of the buildings.

Listed as a German camp.

Another view of the same camp.

Preston Whitehead with German souveniers.
Note the portable generator in the background.

Roadside motorpool, probably England. If this were France the vehicles wouldn't be lined up in such a neat row for a strafing German plane. Note the wire cutter on the front of the jeep.

We're just too happy. Possibly France as the brush looks much the same as the photo with the souveniers.

Possibly Staff Sgt Archie Snow

The truck is properly parked under trees so it's not as easily spotted by aircraft. Probably just after the war.

Playing catch. You can almost make out what's written on the right tower of the building in the background. It looks like ...REES.

Waterfalls.

A family and cart, somewhere in Europe.

Reading a magazine.

A sergeant with an M1 carbine and a pipe. Possibly S/Sgt Snow.

John Bueno getting a haircut
