Basic Re-enacting Uniform & Equipment

Before buying equipment, check it over for wear and damage. It's usually better to spend a few dollars more to get something that's in good condition rather than waste your money on something that's going to fall apart the first time in the field. Things to look for include:

If you're at a militaria show or an event with vendors, hook up with the veteran squad members and pester them with questions. They'll be able to stear you to the better equipment and find the deals.
