USO "Living Letter" Record

Print on a 4.5" x 4.5" manila envelope with the opening to the right side.

During the war soldiers could go into a USO club and record a message in a booth. The technician would press the record on the spot and for 3 the soldier could mail it home to his family or sweetheart. This was the voicemail of the time.

This reproduction was made from a record an uncle sent home in August, 1943.
